Training APEX Awards – Recognizing excellence in employee training & development

For more than 50 years, Training magazine has underscored the point that training matters. That philosophy—that recognition of the crucial role training plays in organizational success and making the world a better place—is the underpinning of the Training APEX Awards: the industry’s premier annual ranking of organizations that provide best-in-class human capital development for their internal employees and independent contractors/franchisees.

Only applicants whose primary business is not training are eligible to apply. Companies apply by filling out an extensive application form. They are assessed on a range of factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of training and development programs, and how closely such efforts are linked to business goals and the Kirkpatrick Level 3 (behavior change) and Level 4 (business results) outcomes they achieve. Applications are scored both quantitatively by an outside research company and qualitatively by Training magazine’s editor and Training Hall of Fame representatives.

Each year, the winners are recognized and their rankings are revealed at a black-tie gala held the first evening of the annual Training Conference & Expo. Coverage of the winners’ programs appears in the March issue of Training magazine.

Emerging Training Leaders Awards – A little recognition goes a long way!

Show your emerging training leaders that you recognize their hard work and value their contributions. Training’s Emerging Training Leaders Awards program aims to recognize professionals who have been in the training/learning and development industry between 2 and 10 years, and have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, business savvy, and training instincts.

This awards program is open to ALL companies/organizations in the training industry. Nominations must come from managers, co-workers, peers/colleagues, customers, or vendors—no self-nominations. There is NO fee to nominate someone!

Each year, the 25 winners and their accomplishments are highlighted in the March issue of Training magazine.
